Lombardi Blueprint is a cloud-based process discovery and documentation platform accessible from any browser. It is designed to be easy-to-use and collaborative so that a wide range of stakeholders can work together synchronously or asynchronously to map, refine and improve processes.

Simple Process Discovery

Capturing a process is as simple as typing out a bulleted list of activities. As you type Blueprint generates a set of activity boxes which can then be re-arranged, stacked and grouped through simple drag and drop. Double click on each box and add activity details or attach files on the pop-up form. When you’re satisfied with your map, select “Process Diagram” from the tool bar and a flow diagram in BPMN notation is automatically generated for you

Collaboration and Centralization

Blueprint is a cloud-based application accessible from any browser. Because the application is centralized and networked, individuals are able to collaborate on a process from wherever they can access the internet. Chat is also integrated for realtime collaboration. Version tracking provides an audit trail and allows for the rolling back of changes if needed. The application also acts as a centralized repository for all process documents and attachments.

Sharing and Linking

Blueprint’s main login page immediately tells you what changes have occurred to processes you are either directly or indirectly involved in. Learn which new process have been “shared,” or published, which processes have been edited and who has commented on which process. By linking together people and processes and providing a central location for process assets and conversations Blueprint helps bring process to every desktop.

Problem Analysis

Blueprint allows you to capture problem severity and frequency as a process is documented. The analysis view shows the process and step in which the problem occurs and the overall impact score. There is no more speculation on which improvement opportunity has the most impact for the business. It's easy for the team to see where to focus efforts.

Data Import and Export

Blueprint allows you to import and manipulate Visio diagrams. When you want to share your information, data can be output as an automatically generated PowerPoint presentation as well as a Word document, Excel spreadsheet, PDF or BPDM for execution in Lombardi Teamworks.

Participant and Author Access

Blueprint offers both "Author" and "Participant" views. As an author you are able to create, modify and share a process. Participants can view and comment on processes but aren't able to modify or create them. As a result of access control a user may be an author on one process and a participant on another. Blueprint allows the account administrator to set the level of access, author or participant, for each individual process. For individuals who will only be commenting and offering feedback on processes, but not creating or modifying them, there is a special "participant" license available.

Easy Administration

Administration is handled through a simple intuitive interface. You can allocate licenses by simply typing the user's email address and inviting them to join. If at some point accounts are not being used, you can re-allocate those to new users. To order obtain new seats, you can simply order on line by inputting your credit card and selecting the number of Author and Participant licenses you need.

Security and Privacy

Security of your information is a top priority for Lombardi. Processes documented in Blueprint represent the intellectual property of Lombardi’s customers. Lombardi does not monitor, evaluate, or share processes entered by customers. Blueprint uses the industry’s strongest SSL encryption (256 bit) to secure traffic between your browser and the server so that no one may electronically intercept the transmission. Blueprint servers are managed by a third-party hosting service who maintains a secure SAS70 type II compliant server environment that is staffed 24x7 and secured using closed circuit video surveillance.
