Lean Six Sigma
Lean Six Sigma (LSS) and Business Process Management (BPM) have much to contribute to each other. Unfortunately, most companies have not integrated these initiatives successfully — falling short of the full potential of their process improvement efforts. Why the disconnect? On the LSS side, most teams are taught that technology is not the solution to process problems — and so BPM efforts are dismissed as just another technology. Similarly, most BPM teams, and specifically most BPM vendors, have little understanding of LSS techniques and how assets produced by LSS teams can help drive more successful BPM projects.
At Lombardi, we believe that companies can accelerate the transition to a Process-Driven organization by explicitly integrating key elements of their LSS and BPM initiatives. As a company, we have made the investment in Lean Six Sigma to understand exactly how it relates to and benefits BPM. Our certified Master Black Belts have developed a framework for integrating BPM and LSS initiatives using eight key touch points. Today, we are helping global companies integrate their LSS and BPM initiatives. We are also introducing companies who have never used Lean Six Sigma to its benefits in driving process improvement.
