Duration: 2 Days
This course covers Business Process Management fundamentals, business process modeling, process simulation and a high-level overview of the Teamworks technical components. At the end of the class, participants build a simple process and run simulations, demo a process implementation, and demo business process scoreboard reports.
Objectives
By the end of training, participants understand how a solution, built on the Teamworks platform, meets the needs of an enterprise. Although technical knowledge is neither required nor taught, participants see enough to begin their understanding of the technical nature of the software.
- Define the major components of the Teamworks platform
- Explain the advantages of the Teamworks platform
- Use the Teamworks Process Modeler
- Create a working business process instance and run simulations
- Create an initial process playback demo
- Create an initial process scoreboard demo
Target Audience
This class is recommended for anyone who needs an introduction to the Teamworks platform, especially people who would like to have a proving ground for the software.
Prerequisites
Although the overview requires some technical knowledge, it is not structured to require deep technical expertise. Most users who are comfortable with computer applications should have an easy time with the technical issues in the class. Participants should, however, have some general knowledge about how enterprise applications fit into their businesses. Participants should also have:
- A broad understanding of business processes and process design tools
- Knowledge of the problems that enterprise applications are intended to solve
- Ability to use common applications such as Microsoft Office and Visio or the like
- Interest in how Teamworks can fit into a company
