Lombardi Software Announces First On-demand BPM Service to Ensure Successful BPM Deployment

New LODA Professional Service Offers Customers the Shortest Path to BPM Process Excellence

AUSTIN, TX – October 26, 2005 – Lombardi Software®, the leader in pure-play Business Process Management (BPM) software for Global 2000 companies, today announced the Lombardi On-Demand Assistance (LODA) program. LODA is the first subscription-based BPM service enabling customers to successfully implement and manage their TeamWorks process initiative when they are unable to use outside resources such as consultants. The LODA program is now available to Lombardi's growing base of customers.

"Any successful BPM implementation requires more than technology and Lombardi has been the leader in coupling its award-winning TeamWorks technology with a proven, repeatable BPM methodology," said Toby Cappello, Vice-President of Professional Services at Lombardi Software. "Lombardi On-Demand Assistance grew out of our customer's desire for an alternative to the traditional services model. Now our service offering provides the best of both worlds – onsite support for complete, end-to-end implementation and on-demand for basic, as-needed professional services. LODA gives customers the option to decide how hands-on, or hands-off, they want to be in the creation, deployment and management of their TeamWorks process initiative."

LODA eliminates the barrier to rapid process implementation for companies unable to bring in consultants or third-party resources for long-term deployment contracts. LODA empowers companies who wish to control and manage their TeamWorks BPM initiatives by providing on-demand support, reviews and assistance from Lombardi's Certified Process Architects. Moreover, whether organizations opt for a full-service agreement with an outside consultant or manage their process initiative internally, customers can rely on Lombardi's world-class TeamWorks support team to make their deployment successful.

The LODA subscription includes:

On-Demand Assistance – A dedicated channel for asking platform and process-specific questions that are implementation related. This includes reviews of process and non-process assets as well as providing best practices for the organization.
Onsite Technical Reviews – A Lombardi Certified Process Architect will conduct technical reviews of a customer's solution and provide recommendations for improvement.
Training Credits – Select from Lombardi's wide range of Training Courses. Customers can apply these credits for onsite training or for training at Lombardi's Austin, Texas, headquarters.
Special Pricing – Subscribers will receive special pricing on professional service rates during the subscription period.
Upgrade and Migration Assistance – Overview of maintenance and major releases of TeamWorks and consultation on impact of these upgrades on in-flight processes and current or planned projects.
