Overview

This course will teach participants how to model business processes with Lombardi Blueprint™ and Teamworks®. This course will demonstrate how Blueprint and Teamworks can support different modeling goals using actual business processes as examples. Hands-on classroom activities and individual exercises allow participants to practice interpreting requirements into a business process model in Blueprint and Teamworks.

Course Objectives

  • Use Blueprint to collaboratively capture high-level business process requirements and align stakeholders around process goals
  • Use Teamworks to perform additional modeling that reflects implementation oriented requirements
  • Use Blueprint and Teamwork to perform process data collection and mapping
  • Use core modeling Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN) elements like Gateways and Intermediate events to express business process flow requirements in a consistent manner
  • Capture key business data requirements in the context of the process participant interactions
  • Maintain process requirements documentation throughout the lifecycle of a business process
